Review In the author, a wife and mother, decided to take her own life in the hopes of finding peace. Very much a hard knock life, but at the same time, much of it was the author’s own making. Instead she entered a realm of terrifying darkness.
This is the more well written part.
I seem to read it every year at Christmastime. This is a book which falls into two main parts which the author attempts to link together. Most of her story doesn’t have any roots in the Bible, which concerns me. In this remarkable book, Fenimore describes one life, haunted by abuse and despair, that led to the suicide she thought would give her peace.

I supposes I should point out that she does states that it’s a near-death” experience on the cover of the book, but within the book itself, she describes it as a death experience where she gets a second chance at life. The first half of this book deals with the author’s life, and her struggles. This book is more New Fenijore in its understanding than the born-again christian type which is where she seems to want to be.
